Troubleshooting CodeTwo Email Signatures 365

Here you'll find troubleshooting tips for the most common issues that users run into when using CodeTwo Email Signatures 365.

Signatures not added to emails

There could be several reasons why CodeTwo signatures are not added to emails.

  1. If you've just registered your tenant with CodeTwo in:
    • Any signature mode – check whether the initial configuration/synchronization has finished.
    • Only Outlook (client-side) and combo mode – make sure you have deployed the CodeTwo Web Add-in. Note that the deployment can take from 6 up to 72 hours to complete, so your users may not immediately receive CodeTwo Outlook signatures (added while composing an email). They will start getting them as soon as the Web Add-in appears and starts functioning in their Outlook apps.
  2. If you've recently changed signature mode from cloud to Outlook/combo or vice versa, note that it can take up to 4 hours for the change to fully propagate. During this time, your users might still get the previous type of signature (e.g. added in the cloud instead of directly in Outlook, as users compose their emails). 
  3. Incorrect configuration of signature rules. Try using the signature rules tester for troubleshooting purposes.
