We are happy to announce that, starting today, CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365 can process your emails in a new geolocation, Germany West Central, located in the Microsoft’s Azure datacenter in Frankfurt. Since this is also where the program stores your settings and some of your Azure AD data (cached user attributes), it is good news for those of you who need to keep their data within the borders of Germany to comply with applicable German laws and regulations. Germany West Central is the eighth geolocation available for our email signature and disclaimer manager for Office 365, the other being: West US, North Central US, Canada East, North Europe, UK South, West Europe and Australia East.
You can select the new geolocation in CodeTwo Admin Panel when registering a new Office 365 tenant to our service. We always encourage selecting the same geolocation where your Office 365 tenant is located or one that is geographically nearest to your tenant.
If you’re already using our services and want to move your tenant to the new geolocation to meet your security, compliance and data residency requirements, we’ve got you covered. To change a geolocation, simply contact our Support team. And one more thing – you will not experience any downtime during the entire procedure. All signatures and disclaimers will continue to be inserted into your emails as usual.
Keep in mind that we monitor all our geolocations 24/7. You can also check the status of our services at any time by visiting status.codetwo.com.
