How to export CodeTwo rules
The new export feature lets you save your rules (rule settings & email signature templates) to a local file. To export CodeTwo rules, sign in to the Signatures app, click the options (…) button and select Export all rules. This will export all your rules at once.
To export specific rules only, select them first on the rules list and then click Export / Export selected, as shown below:
Either way, in the next step you will be asked to set up a strong password – you’ll need it later to import the rules back to CodeTwo, so don’t lose it! Finally, click EXPORT. All exported rules will be compressed to a single .c2ex file and saved in your default downloads folder.
How to import rules back to CodeTwo
Rules can be imported to the Microsoft 365 tenant from which they were exported or to any other tenant registered with CodeTwo. To import CodeTwo signature or autoresponder rules, sign in to the Signatures app, click the options (…) button and select Import rule(s).
Next, select the .c2ex file with the exported rules, enter the password you previously set for the file, and click IMPORT.
Backup and migration of CodeTwo signature and autoresponder rules has never been easier. Enjoy!
