New tool: CodeTwo Exchange Rules Converter

Great news for all admins using CodeTwo Exchange Rules and Exchange Rules Pro to manage their email signatures. We’ve just released CodeTwo Exchange Rules Converter. The tool lets you easily migrate email signature rules and designs defined in the CodeTwo Exchange Rules product family to CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365. If you follow the trend to move your organization from Exchange to the Microsoft 365 (Office 365) cloud, you can move your on-premises email signatures with you and manage them using the software you’re familiar with.

How the Converter works

CodeTwo Exchange Rules Converter helps you automatically migrate email signature rules from CodeTwo Exchange Rules (Pro) to CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365. The tool will automatically convert:

• conditions and exceptions – which define when a certain email signature template is added,
• actions – adding a signature or disclaimer, or applying full composition,
• email signature templates – their design, as well as included AD attributes/placeholders (provided they are available in both environments).

Installation

To start, all you need to do is download and launch CodeTwo Exchange Rules Converter (which is a ClickOnce application). The tool needs to be launched on a machine located in the same domain where the CodeTwo Exchange Rules Service is installed (and running). The Converter will generate a conversion report which shows detailed information on how the process went.
