Inconsistent email branding, difficult management and native limitations
Fahan School wanted to make professional email branding easy for the staff. That’s why they introduced centralized management of email signatures using native Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) mail flow rules. Thanks to that, branding was supposed to be consistent across the whole organization, without the need for teachers and other staff to set up anything manually on multiple devices. What sounded like a great idea came with a few "buts":
• Limited flexibility
• Inconsistency between different devices
• Difficult management based on raw HTML
• No signature preview for the staff
• Other limitations of mail flow rules
Those limitations were not acceptable in the long run.
