CodeTwo products with TLS 1.2 support released

Starting October 31, 2018, the support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 is discontinued in Office 365. This means that TLS 1.0 and 1.1 will still work, but Microsoft will not provide support in case of connection/compatibility issues. For this reason, we have updated all our software that connects to or otherwise interacts with Office 365. To avoid possible issues in the future, we recommend that you update your software to the latest version.

Free Out of Office Manager from CodeTwo

UPDATE: We are sorry, but CodeTwo Out of Office Manager mentioned in this article has been discontinued. If you are looking for an alternative for Exchange Server, take a look at the auto respond feature in CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro. Imagine you write to someone who has just gone on their annual leave. Not a big deal, everyone needs a vacation once in a while. But what if they forget to set up their Out of Office reply or take a sudden leave and your email is not forwarded? Personally, I would be pretty furious if I had to wait for a week just to find out someone was absent. Another problem with Out of Office replies is that sometimes they are unique, user-created. Sometimes, those automatic responses might be even worse. Most people just want to know when you come back and who to contact when you are gone. They are not that interested in your family life, or what you like to do in your free time. Some Out of Office messages make you think what kind of company is into such oversharing policy. Unfortunately, such situations happen. Neither Exchange Server, nor Office 365 lets you centrally manage those automatic replies for other users in a user-friendly way. That is why we have thought that a free Out of Office Manager might come in handy.

  1. I was encouraged to hear there was a new version. But still no joy . Outlook 2010 Pro (32 bit) on Windows 10 still locks up Outlook and you have to go into task manager to end it. Got a message saying “unhandled interrupt” or something to that effect. Outlook then disables it when restarted. This is the identical behavior as before.

Hi Steve, We were not able to replicate the issue (tested both Windows 10 32 and 64-bit). There is a possibility that it is caused by a conflict with another add-in. Are you able to test running Outlook with all addins disabled except Outlook Export?

  2. It is a shame that though the website says applicable to outlook version 2013 but it does not activate.
Obviously no response from the supplier

      Hi Naren,

I am sorry to hear you are having problems with CodeTwo Outlook Export. Did the program appear in the Outlook 2013 top menu? Sometimes installed add-ins are not visible in Outlook. There can be several reasons for that. To resolve your issue, please try the steps described here: https://www.codetwo.com/kb/installed-add-in-is-not-visible-in-microsoft-outlook#2010-2013.
