This year’s IT Dev Connections takes place in Aria Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas. Allegedly what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but since we did not throw a mattress out of the window and we didn’t kidnap anyone (yet), I think I can share my first impressions after day 1 of Penton Media’s flagship conference.

Dear CodeTwo Exchange Rules users. We have just updated CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2003 to version 3.2. These are the fixes for the most common issues you have been reporting for the past few months. We did our best to meet your requirements and we do hope you will be satisfied with this release. It's a major update since we've fixed 9 bugs in the application. Take a look at the list of the fixes below:   Delivery reports were not delivered for internal messages. AD contacts were treated by the application as internal users. In certain cases the application added the signature to encrypted messages. In very complicated Exchange environments the application did not deliver messages to distribution groups. When sending a message to the distribution group plus one of its members, the message could be delivered duplicated. Messages might not be delivered to members of distribution groups if forwarding was configured between the members of these groups. If non-standard AD attributes were used in the signature (extended AD scheme) the internal users might be treated as external. When testing scenarios in the built-in rule tester based on membership to AD groups, the application returned an error. Statistics files after changing the settings to non-default were reset. In order to update CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2003 to version 3.2, simply download the program and install it on top of the existing version. The previous version will be automatically detected and patched. The update is dedicated for users of 3.x and is free of charge. Detailed information on the update procedure can be found here. We wouldn't be ourselves if we hadn't fixed an issue with a 3rd party product and then shared it with the world. Many of our tools were initially created solely for our own needs, tested by us in a live environment as we grew from a small business to what we are now, and then turned into products that many of you use today. So... here we come with another tool for Outlook and iPhone/iPad aficionados. We've heard from our fellow users that the iCloud feature from Apple™, which is meant to synchronize Outlook with iCloud, iPhone, iPad and other iCloud-compatible devices, is a great tool but does not really sync the stuff that you already have in Outlook but creates another set of folders. To delve into the problem, we started using iCloud Control Panel together with Outlook for our own needs and soon we realized that our Outlook synchronization algorithms can quickly fix the issue. CodeTwo Office 365 Migration has just been featured by J. Peter Bruzzese in his InfoWorld column as one of his three favorite tools for migrating to Office 365. That's awesome news for us and a third great review of this new product that supports mailbox migrations from Exchange 2013, 2010 and 2007, and from Google Apps for Business. We are seeing a lot of traffic to our website these days especially for products that support Exchange-to-Exchange migrations but Microsoft cloud email system migrations do not fall behind. For the past months our mobile and Exchange teams have been hacking away on a new program called CodeTwo Exchange Folders and they have now come to a spot that we would refer to as Release Candidate. As the name suggests, the program will let you exchange folders between users and devices. And now... (drums!) you will be able to sync Exchange Public Folders and any personal folders with your Android devices (iOS support coming a few weeks later). The tool will come in tandem with dedicated mobile apps for syncing Exchange calendar, contacts and tasks. Do you think you will warrant these apps a coveted spot on your homescreen?
