Yesterday we released our next freeware for Exchange Server users. It's called CodeTwo Active Directory Photos and, as the name suggests, it allows you to manage photographs in Active Directory. What makes it so great is that you can upload and manage even thousands of Active Directory users' pictures very quickly and easily. Uploaded pictures can later be displayed in Outlook 2010 internal emails, in GALs or contact cards. You can also add them to server-sided email signatures appended to internal or outbound correspondence. And it's really free. Learn more about CodeTwo Active Directory Photos. We created this program because many of you have sent us tech support questions concerning employees' pictures in email signatures. Since it is possible to add images to Active Directory (one image per user), it is also possible to automatically insert them to Exchange email signatures when messages fly through Exchange. If you combine CodeTwo Active Directory Photos and CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro, you will be able to do that by adding just one placeholder to your template - a {Photo} placeholder. Learn more about adding Active Directory pictures to server-sided email signatures. We're happy to share CodeTwo Active Directory Photos with you - it's absolutely free and there are no time limitations. To install the program, download it from this link and install it either on a server machine equipped with Exchange Server or on a client PC with Admin's rights. Frequently Asked Questions

It's been raining cats and dogs for two days now and a lot of people in our town have stuck in a rut and they start to look like they won't snap out of it. Where is everybody? Come on! It's summer! Don't mind the rain. Here, at CodeTwo, the atmosphere is warm as usually, and we have just released an updated version of CodeTwo Outlook Sync - a tool for sharing Outlook between two computers. It can be downloaded from the product's website and is, naturally, free of charge for all CodeTwo Outlook Sync users. See below to learn what was improved in version 1.0.4 of CodeTwo Outlook Sync. Now you can run the licensing module from within the main application window.
The program can now correctly sync a read/unread state of messages.
Deleted items are now copied to the C2Backup folder. All items deleted by the program are also saved in the special folder called C2Backup.
Notifications in Windows XP tray area are now displayed properly.
Now the program checks its protocol version against other instances of the software present in the environment. If they are not compatible the appropriate notification window will be shown. To update the program, just install it on top of the existing installation, and it will be patched automatically. Thanks a lot for all your emails and phone calls. Your remarks and tips are much appreciated. We've also collected a bunch of feature requests from you, our testers and from ourselves too, and we will consider implementing them in the future updates. Download CodeTwo Outlook Sync

CodeTwo Exchange Sync, an application enabling automatic synchronization of selected data between folders of Microsoft Exchange server, has been updated to version 2.1.2. The latest version has three main bugfixes, namely: The error logging to MAPI session has been fixed. Occasionally, errors occurred while opening CodeTwo Exchange Sync Administrator.
The ‘Save’ button is no longer disabled after folders are removed from a Folder Ring task.
MAPI_E_AMBIGUOUS_RECIP error is no longer returned if the username running C2ExchangeSync service is part of the username of another AD user (e.g. ‘admin’ is part of ‘Administrator’). We would like to thank all users who reported these issues. Our support and dev teams always work hard to meet your requirements. If you have any feature requests or feel uncertain about something in our programs, just let us know!
The internet community have been recently observing a sort of commento-phobia. It all started a long time ago when internet magazines allowed their users to comment their articles. As Internet was believed to be absolutely anonymous then and naturally, it was a kick-off for giving all those article authors a bad time. I don't say everyone was wicked and only wanted to sling mud at those people or characters of their articles, but the truth is that the sense of being totally invisible and, yet, with an amazing power of bad touch, gave all those people a chance to experiment with the ill side of their nature. Everyone has that kind of alter ego, right? How many alter egos do we have anyway? So.. What happened later?
