The Oswiecim (Auschwitz) Institute of Human Rights (OIPC) has awarded its Non-Indifference Award in the Inspiration category to CodeTwo CEO Szymon Szczesniak in recognition of the company’s community-focused initiatives and positive social impact.
Szymon is the mastermind behind CodeTwo’s social media channels, HRejterzy, with over one million subscribers across Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms. Although these channels are primarily entertainment-oriented, we also leverage their reach for educational purposes, covering cybersecurity and responsible technology use, as well as environmental protection, mental health, and other important social issues. All materials are available at hrejterzy.com (in Polish and primarily aimed at a Polish-speaking audience, as the channels support our ESG efforts focused on the local community).
Apparently, you can’t change the world on your own. But you can change the whole world for one person. For one today, for another tomorrow. The internet makes it possible to amplify these efforts, which on a larger scale can lead to extraordinary results. I wish more people would simply try to help others, because it brings an incredible sense of satisfaction – one that’s hard to compare to anything else.
Simon Szczesniak CodeTwo CEO
Although Szymon’s name is on the award, our CEO claims that it really belongs to the entire CodeTwo team, who work alongside him after hours to do good by creating content aimed at helping protect others rather than monetizing our online channels.
We would like to thank the OIPC Award Committee for this exceptional recognition. It is a huge motivation for us to keep doing what we do – and to keep doing it as best we can!
Below are a few photos from the award ceremony. As Szymon was attending a conference in Orlando, the award was accepted on his behalf by Agata Staszak, our Director of Business Administration. Other recipients included Magdalena Różczka, an actress recognized for supporting foster and adoptive families, and Piotr Kaszuwara, a journalist honored for reporting on the war in Ukraine, combating disinformation, and helping its victims.

More about OIPC
OIPC is a Polish organization based in Oswiecim (internationally known by its former German name: Auschwitz) that focuses on raising awareness of threats to European and global security stemming from human rights violations. It delivers reliable knowledge through seminars, educational projects, publications, and its online platform, while promoting a human rights mindset that encourages people to recognize and respond to injustice early and to actively support those affected.
The award’s name refers to Marian Turski’s message “Thou Shalt Not Be Indifferent”, a call by the Holocaust survivor, historian, and journalist to recognize and respond to injustice.
