Log files

Log files contain diagnostic data that can be used when the program deviates from its standard behaviour. Diagnostic files are divided into:

  • Updating service's log files - diagnostic data concerning the updating service only
  • Administration module's log files - diagnostic data concerning other actions than updating service associated with the administration module

To display the log files window, open the dropdown menu of the Help button located in the Administration Panel of CodeTwo Out Of Office Manager. Then choose one of the Log files type (Fig. 1.).

After clicking the chosen log files, they will be displayed in the Windows Explorer window (Fig. 2.).

The default locations for storing the diagnostic files cannot be changed.

To open the logs up, either right-click the log file and choose Open or double-click the desirable file.

All log files are stored in the following format: YYYY.MM.DD_00001, YYYY.MM.DD_00002, YYYY.MM.DD_00003 etc., where Y is the year, M - the month and D - the day when the file was saved.
