CodeTwo Public Folders Update

We have released a minor update to CodeTwo Public Folders, a cost effective Exchange Server alternative designed for sharing Outlook folders between multiple users. The latest version (4.6.2) has an improved activation and licensing mechanism. We recommend all users to download and install the latest fix.

The update is free of charge for all current CodeTwo Public Folders users. To update the currently used version, download and run the installer. Note that first the Syncing Master has to be updated, then the same procedure has to be applied to each of the Outlook Add-ins. Detailed information about upgrading the program can be found here.

CodeTwo Exchange Sync 2.1.4 Available

CodeTwo Exchange SyncWe have released a new version of CodeTwo Exchange Sync, an application used for automatic synchronization of Microsoft Exchange folders. We recommend all our users to download and install the latest fix. The update versioned 2.1.4 solves the following issues from the previous versions:

  • The synchronization service used to stop after activating the application to full version.
  • In some cases, the synchronization service did not start automatically after restarting the computer hosting the program.

The update is free of charge for all CodeTwo Exchange Sync users. To update the currently used version with the fix, download and run the installer available on our website. The previous version will be automatically patched and all your settings will be kept. Here you will find detailed information on the update procedure.

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010We have released a minor update versioned 2.2.7 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 and 1.1.10 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010, applications used in the management of disclaimers and signatures in Exchange mail.

In some cases programs may not have added signatures below the most recent reply if the messages were sent from Outlook 2010. The latest update fixes this problem.  Additionally, the mechanism of communication between Transport Agent and SentItemsUpdate has been improved in both programs.

CodeTwo FolderSync Addin updated

Share Outlook Folders and more with CodeTwo softwareCodeTwo FolderSync Addin, a program that enables a synchronization of Outlook folders, has been updated to version 1.3.0. We have also released a 64bit version of this amazing plugin! Now it is fully compatible also with Outlook 2010 32bit and 64 bit.

We also fixed the following things:

  • There was a wrong warning message when folders of different type were selected for synchronization,
  • The icon of the application has changed.

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007/2010 – Minor Update

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010We have released a minor update versioned 2.2.5 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 and 1.1.8 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010, applications used in the management of disclaimers and signatures in Exchange mail. It fixes the following minor issues in those applications:

  • Power Shell script used for manual installation of CodeTwo Sent Items Update has been improved. In some cases executing the script finished in error 21.
  • This version tackles the problem in which EWS automatically disconnected from CodeTwo Sent Items Update service.

What is more, a new feature was added to both 2007 and 2010 version of the program. It is now possible to add the EWS address manually in the configuration file in ‘EWSUrl’ key.

CodeTwo Public Folders Works With Outlook 2010 64-bit

We have released a minor update versioned 4.6.0 to CodeTwo Public Folders, an Exchange Server alternative to share Outlook data in real time and between multiple users. The latest version of the program has been tested compatible with Microsoft Outlook 2010 64-bit. For the complete list of changes see below:

  • New: The program is available in 64-bit version.
  • New: It is fully compatible with MS Outlook 2010. The application can be installed onto any MS Outlook 2010, both 32x and 64x.
  • New: German version of the program has been developed.

In addition, the update fixes the following minor issues that occurred previously:

  • The program synchronized all items of a shared folder of other user repeatedly causing the PST file to grow each time.
  • The program did not work correctly if Outlook was opened in minimized mode.
  • If multiple network cards were used by the same machine, the program returned a licensing error.

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007/2010 – Minor Update

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010We have released a minor update versioned 2.2.4 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 and 1.1.7 to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010, applications used in the management of disclaimers and signatures in Exchange mail. It fixes the following minor issues in those applications:

  • The support for multiple databases by Sent Items Update has been improved. The installer failed to install the service if there were more than one database on MS EXchange.
  • Sent Items Update did not update emails sent from external application due to the TNEF part missing.
  • Change of logic in Sent Items Update setup. Now Sent Items Update is activated after the setup is complete.
  • Change of logic for retrieving EWS service address in Sent Items Update. If the connection to the autodiscover service fails, a local address of EWS service is used.

Additionally, in the latest CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010 version, the mechanism of  inserting the signature below the most recent reply in OWA is improved.

CodeTwo Public Folders 4.5.9 – Minor Update

We have released a minor update versioned 4.5.9 to CodeTwo Public Folders, an Exchange Server alternative to share Outlook data. It includes among others the following fixes:

  • In some cases, a licensed program reverted to demo mode.
  • All items in shared folders were duplicated when a user had more than one Outlook profile.
  • Improved user identification system. In some cases, two different users having the same user and computer names were able to connect to the Syncing Master.

In this new version, users can decide if all removed items are moved to the Deleted Items folder or deleted irrevertibly. By default, all deleted elements are deleted permanently.

CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 2.1.3 – Minor Update

An update to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 versioned 2.1.3 has just been released. It fixes a few minor issues: reporting an error for a preview of the rule with no template available, time-out warnings during the installation and an error causing the program to switch to demo mode. If those bugs have been bothering you, download the update and your problem will be solved.

Fix 1.0.8 for CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010

We have just released a fix to CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010 versioned 1.0.8. The update solves a few minor issues: switching the program to demo mode after network card settings modification, adding footers to messages mistaken for Non Interpersonal and logic of starting and stopping Microsoft Exchange Transport service. Additionally, all the installation files are now digitally signed.
