Notes and warnings | Restart of the machine might be required after installing the software, see manual. |
Avoid installing on a machine where other MAPI-using software is already installed e.g. older versions of BES as conflicts may occur or MAPI limits might be reached.
The software is not made for mixed environments - it will not synchronize mailboxes between two or more different Exchange Server versions e.g. between Exchange 2007 and 2010.
If you ever customized your IIS please review this Knowledge Base article on supported IIS configuration.
Exchange Server 2016 and 2019 are not supported.
Hybrid setup support | Synchronization in hybrid environments is possible only for accounts that have mailboxes in on-premises Exchange. Service account and Windows logged-on user must both use accounts that have mailboxes in on-premises Exchange. |
ADFS is not yet supported, Single Sign On (SSO)-enabled accounts should not be used as a service account or to run the software. |
