Seamless Outlook Integration
CodeTwo Public Folders totally integrates with Microsoft Outlook and does not require the user to learn new software. Working with shared data is just the same as working with personal folders in Outlook. This is a major advantage, as the user does not need to waste time reading manuals or attending training sessions; they can have a flying start with using Outlook for groupwork.
When you have added CodeTwo Public Folders to Outlook, a tree of public folders (C2PublicFolders) will expand and a menu and toolbar will be added on the top pane of Outlook. This is the only change that occurs visually to Outlook, but in practice day-to-day work in Outlook may change significantly.
In C2publicFolders tree users can create new public folders of any type and share data with co-workers. Creating a new public folder is very easy and does not differ from creating a new folder in the tree of personal folders. Once a public folder is created, any element placed in it will instantly be visible for all users in the network, who use CodeTwo Public Folders. The users do not need to take any further steps like choosing who they would like to share data with or sending sync emails. See how to create a new public folder.
Apart from sharing data in public folders, each user may share selected personal folders with selected users who work on other computers.
