Introduction

CodeTwo Exchange Sync is an application enabling automatic synchronization of Exchange server folders of any type: mail, calendars, contacts, tasks, etc. The program provides several types of synchronization tasks and allows you to precisely choose the items within folders for synchronization, as well as modify the synced items on the fly. The rich functionality of the program lets Exchange server administrators use it in a number of scenarios of teamwork and mail management.

CodeTwo Exchange Sync can synchronize folder data in two ways. They include One-Way synchronization and Two-Way synchronization. One-Way synchronization allows synchronizing data in one direction from the source folders to the target folders. In Two-Way synchronization a change made in any folder is propagated to all the remaining folders in a given sync group, the so-called ‘Folder Ring’. More about One-Way and Two-Way synchronization.

The synchronization of data between Exchange Server folders is real time in CodeTwo Exchange Sync. Real time synchronization means each change that occurs to an item in a folder is instantly synchronized to the remaining folders. Owing to this approach the users will be able to immediately notice a change in Exchange server data and work on updated data while avoiding integrity issues.

The features available in CodeTwo Exchange Sync will surely appreciate companies with central databases (e.g. contacts, calendars, tasks in Exchange server public folders) that need to be kept up-to-date at all times and at the same time synchronized with mobile devices (PDA, BlackBerry) of employees and their mailboxes. CodeTwo Exchange Sync is also helpful in creating group calendars or sharing a company address book by multiple users in the same Exchange organization. Read more about the example practical application of CodeTwo Exchange Sync

A major benefit of CodeTwo Exchange Sync is that is does not need to be installed directly on Exchange server. You can install the application on another machine that is connected to Exchange server via network. Similarly to our other programs, the installation and setup of the whole application is very easy and intuitive. It takes a maximum of a few minutes. See a short description of how to set up a sample synchronization task
