Sensitive Content Filter
Use the Remove Sensitive Content action in Codetwo Exchange Rules PRO to automatically filter confidential data in email messages at the server. This action will be used in companies who are aware of the danger entailed in letting users use corporate email without any restrictions. By employing the rule described below CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO will remove such details from email messages that meet the defined criteria (Conditions).

How it works

Some messages may contain unwanted content belonging to categories such as Gambling or Finances, but it is virtually impossible to supervise all mail in the company manually (Fig.1.). With CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO you can activate the Remove sensitive content rule that will remove the unwanted content automatically from the messages that travel through Exchange if they meet the defined cryteria (Conditions) (Fig.2.).

How to configure this action

To activate the action click Add in the Actions tab and select Remove sensitive content (Fig.3.).

A new action Remove sensitive content will appear in the List of actions pane while the right pane will show the action properties (Fig.4.).

The properties pane show the available dictionaries. Select the dictionary of your choice by checking the box next to it. Set the minimal value for the given dictionary. If the total value of phrases in the message reaches the defined level, CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO will remove the defined phrases from message. To check the exact value of phrases in a given dictionary click Open dictionary. The dialog box that opens shows the predefined dictionaries. By selecting the dictionary on the left, you can modify it by adding, deleting and editing its phrases. You can also change the value associated with each phrase (Fig.5.).

After you selected the dictionary and edited the phrases confirm the changes by clicking OK. When you click the Save button in the main screen of the program, CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO will remove the sensitive phrases from all messages that meet the defined criteria (Conditions).
