MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND error when adding CodeTwo Public Folder to the Outlook profile

Problem:

After installation of CodeTwo Public Folders Outlook Addin, it happens that information about a new type of database is not saved correctly in Outlook settings.

Solution:

This causes the inability of CodeTwo Public Folders to add itself to the current Outlook Profile (Fig. 1.). When the user clicks Yes the MAPI error pops up (Fig. 2.) and the CodeTwo Public Folders functionality is not available in Outlook at all.

To fix this problem, simply run the C2PublicFoldersStoreInstaller.exe program located in the installation folder of CodeTwo Public Folders Outlook Addin. By default it’s

C:\Program Files\CodeTwo\CodeTwo Public Folders Outlook Add-in\

or

C:\Program Files(x86)\CodeTwo\CodeTwo Public Folders Outlook Add-in\

The standard configuration wizard will be launched – missing settings are added to Outlook in the background, so simply follow the wizard and set up your Outlook Addin. After launching Outlook the CodeTwo Public Folders program should work correctly.
