Location of signature templates in CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro

Problem:

What is location of signature templates in CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro.

Solution:

CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro saves the templates of the signatures and disclaimers created by the user in HTML, RTF and Plain Text (TXT) format. If the user doesn't create the disclaimer in one of these format, the template for this format will remain empty. Additionally the templates are stored separately for:

  • footer (area under the message text): template_bottom
  • header (area above the message content): template_top
  • side bars: template_left and template_right

Program saves all templates for a particular rule in a common folder. For each rule the application creates a separate folder where folder name corresponds with the name of the rule. All templates are stored in a subfolder that name starts with Disclaimer. The folder for each rule can be found in the following location (by default ProgramData is a hidden folder):

C:\ProgramData\CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro\Rules\

The example of the path to an HTML footer template:

C:\ProgramData\CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro\Rules\<rule name-ID no>\Disclaimer-<ID no>\template_bottom.html

The example of the path to an RTF header template:

C:\ProgramData\CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro\Rules\<rule name-ID no>\Disclaimer-<ID no>\template_top.rtf

Please keep in mind that there is an easy way to export your rules including signatures you created. To learn more about it please follw this article.
