How to turn on/off SMTP transparency

Problem:

How to switch SMTP transparency on/off in a registry.

Solution:

The SMTP Standard requires the single period (dot) at the beginning of the line to be replaced by a double period (dot) in TNEF part of the message. In certain cases this features needs to be turned off when the users has a different software installed on Exchange that makes our program misinterpret the message.

In order to resolve this, you need to make a change in the registry by adding the following entry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\CodeTwo\ExchangeRules]
NoSmtpTransparency DWORD 1
