Problem:

How to unfreeze Outlook if it freezes when equipped with CodeTwo Public Folders.

Solution:

This happens in selected situations when Outlook incorrectly displays the welcome message.

  1. Close Outlook. If it cannot be closed, try right clicking the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and choose Task Manager. In the Processes tab find OUTLOOK.EXE. Use the right mouse button on it and choose End Process.
  2. Download SuppressMessage.reg file by choosing 'Save Target As...'.
  3. Execute the file by double clicking on it. Approve the message that pops up. The file will introduce changes to the system registry.

Completing the above procedure will enable correct functioning of Outlook.
