How to completely remove CodeTwo Public Folders

How to completely remove CodeTwo Public Folders?

Solution:

If you decide to no longer use CodeTwo Public Folders and want to completely remove it from your computer you should do the following:

  1. If you are a Windows XP user: Go to Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs. Find CodeTwo PublicFolders Outlook Addin (Client) and/or Syncing Master (server) and click remove.
    If you use Windows Vista: Go to Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features. Find CodeTwo PublicFolders Outlook Addin and/or Syncing Master and click uninstall.
  2. Once the uninstaller finishes removing the program, you should now locate the program's installation folders and remove them manually. Depending on the Windows version and Public Folders version all or some of the below listed paths are locations for CodeTwo Public Folders installation folders:

    C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\CodeTwo
    C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\CodeTwo
    C:\Program Files\CodeTwo
    C:\ProgramData\CodeTwo
  3. Please bear in mind that the user_name is the name you use for logging to your system. Also, if you chose a different installation path or changed folders' names when originally installing the software or if your system folders are located on a different drive then C: the above mentioned paths may differ.
  4. If CodeTwo Public Folders toolbar still appears in your Outlook top menu, you can quickly remove it by right-clicking it and unchecking the CodeTwo Public Folders option from the drop-down menu. See the picture below.

  5. If CodeTwo Public Folders option remains in your Outlook top menu, right-click it, choose customize and then drag and drop Public Folders option over an empty space of the customize window. See the picture below.
