Exceptions Tab
CodeTwo Exchange Rules PRO processes messages that meet the specified Conditions but you can also define Exceptions in the rule i.e. the criteria that exclude the message from processing. If the message is found to conform to the defined exceptions it will be immune to the actions defined within the rule.

The exceptions for the rule are provided by the user in the Exceptions tab separately for each rule (Fig.1.).

You can configure one or several exceptions within a single rule. Also, you can set the rule to reject only the messages that meet all exceptions specified within the single rule (Fig.2.) or the messages that meet at least one of the exceptions (Fig.3.).

The rule will be skipped only for the messages that meet all exceptions specified within the rule.

By default the program will not process the message and will not apply the rule if at least one of the exceptions is met (there is logical OR relationship between the exceptions). You can change the logic of exceptions when you click on the word ANY. The word ANY will be replaced by ALL, which means that the rule will not apply if all exceptions are met (there is a logical AND relationship between the exceptions).
