During the installation the Microsoft Exchange Transport service is restarted!
The software should be installed on a computer with the Exchange Server 2007/2010 Hub Transport role or Exchange Server 2013 Mailbox role installed, which are responsible for sending e-mail in the organization.
The above program versions support Exchange Server 2007, 2010 and 2013.
Desktop version and remote management

Upgrade to higher version
Upgrades from older versions of CodeTwo Exchange Rules to the current versions are paid (learn about upgrade prices below). To successfully perform the upgrade, download the newest installer and install it on top of the existing version. Note that your previous settings will not be automatically retained after the installation. You need to manually import them using the built in Settings importer.
