If you buy CodeTwo Public Folders, you receive one year of free technical support provided by email and 3-months of free technical support provided by phone. If your one-year free email support (or your 3-month free phone support) has expired and you want one of our specialists to assist you, you need to buy a one-year support contract. The price of your support contract depends on the number of users determined by your license. Take a look at the table below for more information.
Owing to a support contract, apart from a full access to online documents, you also gain:
- Access to our specialists by email or phone. They will answer all your queries concerning CodeTwo Public Folders and will assist in addressing potential technical issues.
- Guarantee that we will contact you within 24 hours of receiving your query.
- Assurance that your query will be comprehensively handled by the same specialist (unless he/she is out of office).

This only applies to companies from the European Union: Companies from EU should state a valid EU VAT ID during the order process, otherwise 23% VAT tax will be added to the order value (Article 21 (1) b) and Article 8 (1) a) of Directive 77/388/EEC).
Pricing for technical support when upgrading, migrating , or purchasing additional licenses
If you purchase a paid upgrade, you get free technical support under the same terms and conditions as at the first purchase of the program. This means that you gain one year of free technical support via email and 3 months of free technical support by phone.
If you order additional client access licenses during the time of your free support contract, you do not need to pay for additional technical support. Purchasing additional client access licenses does not, however, extend your free support contract – this applies both to phone and email support.
If you order additional client access licenses when your free support contract has expired, but you have a paid support contract, you should order additional technical support for additional users according to the price list. Ordering technical support for additional users does not extend your current support contract so the price will be reduced according to the used period of your support contract. In this case you will receive a message with a calculated price difference.
Example:
1.5 year ago you bought CodeTwo Public Folders with a license for 3 users. Six months ago, after the free technical support has expired, you bought additional technical support for the program. Currently you are ordering licenses for 2 additional users. The price for technical support for an additional user is $8, which equals $16. You are, however, ordering technical support for 2 users for six months only, so the price is divided by 2. Thus, the final price for technical support for 2 additional users is only $8.
