There are two important sections within this tab. In the first one there are two buttons visible: Activate program and Buy license. When you click the first button, you will open a Licensing Module of CodeTwo Public Folders which is also available in Start, Programs, CodeTwo, Public Folders - Syncing Master, Licensing. Find out more about Licensing.

If CodeTwo Public Folders has not been activated yet, on the left side of the Activate program button you will see a notice telling you that the software is running in demo mode, as well as the number of days left for testing. Once the software is activated instead of this message you will see the license key you used to activate the software.

When you click the Buy license button you will be automatically redirected to the program's website, where you can calculate the price of your desired amount of licenses and proceed to the order form. In demo mode the number of users is not limited. After the software has been activated with the purchased key, one the left side of the button you will see the number of available licenses.

The second part of the Licensing tab displays a List of current computers. The names visible here are the machines that connected to the Syncing Master and are using the license. The names of those computers can be changed on each respective machine by accessing My Computer, Properties, Computer Name, Change.

In order to reset the license count (for example when one of your computers has been replaced) you need to restart the C2Public Folders service. The easiest way to do this is to go to the Syncing Master tab and click the Stop and Start buttons one after the other. Read more about the Syncing Master.
