Administration panel
To have full control of shared elements and perform such basic operations as setting access rights for users, creating database backup copies, restoring deleted elements and migrating databases to other machines, you can easily and quickly do that via the program's built in Administration Panel (Fig.1).

The Administration Panel of CodeTwo Public Folders is located on the machine equipped with the Syncing Master. Since there is always one such computer in every CodeTwo Public Folders network, only authorized users can access it. It allows the network administrator to perform a number of administrative operations from an easy-to-use user's interface.
Through the Administration Panel you can:
- Set individual access rights for shared folders;
- Restore shared and public elements deleted by users;
- Create backup copies of CodeTwo Public Folders database that can be restored easily at any time;
- Migrate the entire database to another Syncing Master;
- Set additional data syncing options, e.g. the synchronization of Outlook folder views and non-standard forms;
- Change the system service settings of CodeTwo Public Folders Syncing Master, e.g. the used TCP communication port or database location;
- Manage the program’s licensing.
These options will give you full control of the company shared information. What is more, you can be sure that all important data is always kept safe and can never be lost, since you can backup and restore all elements from your CodeTwo Public Folders database easily.
