Log on to Exchange Server accounts and SharePoint services automatically
A handy free tool has been released by CodeTwo last week. The new program is called CodeTwo AutoLogon and it allows end-users to log on to SharePoint sites and Exchange Server mailboxes automatically, even when those accounts are accessed from outside their domains.
If your email account is hosted on Exchange Server and you’re forced to log on to it from outside the respective domain, you have probably already encountered the problem of these nasty windows popping up and prompting for credentials anytime you launch the mail client. This situation becomes even more annoying when you use SharePoint to work on projects and share data within your organization. Users who log in to those services remotely have to confirm the username and password anytime they want to view a given SharePoint site or change even a slightest thing in a SharePoint document.
CodeTwo AutoLogon can prove to be a true savior in these cases. The application scans the display in search of popup windows and confirms them automatically, in accordance with the credentials the user has provided by adding the account to CodeTwo AutoLogon account list. What is more, whenever a new unknown login request appears, the program asks whether to add this account to the record or not.
There are several scenarios in which CodeTwo AutoLogon can save you a lot of time and nerves. Apart from the above-mentioned ones, the program can also help you log in to server domains using Windows Remote Desktop. After the connection with a given computer has been established, you will be prompted for credentials to the domain profile. CodeTwo AutoLogon can do that for you automatically as well.
