Giegieo = Outlook + GaduGadu
Giegio is a free application by CodeTwo merging Microsoft Outlook with the most popular Polish instant messenger Gadu-Gadu.

Outlook is also widely used by home users. Gadu-Gadu is Polish number one instant messaging application, used by over 6 million people to chat, make phone calls, text to mobiles, send files, images and listen to radio stations to give a few examples, which renders Gadu-Gadu an equivalent of the well-known Skype messenger. It seemed natural that Outlook can be integrated with this leading IM, as keeping contacts in two separate applications can become troublesome.
With the free tool Giegieo users of Gadu-Gadu and Microsoft Outlook no longer need to switch between separate dialog boxes of the two applications to use both at one time. They will instead manage contacts, chat, and text to mobiles, doing all of this in Outlook. The solution developed by CodeTwo is capable of detecting whether the recipient of our message or the person sending us a message is included in the contacts of Gadu-Gadu application. If the contacts are matched, you do not need to write an email message but simply send a text message via IE.
Giegieo displays the online/offline status and their quick message in Outlook. An incoming message signals in specially built-in whether its sender is online available through the messenger, what their online/offline status is and the quick message they broadcast. Instead of composing an email message, it is possible to start up a conversation from mail window without looking for the contact in the messenger's list or in Outlook. Giegieo also adds a footer to each message, which contains online/offline status. Disabling the messenger or choosing ‘Hidden' status will trigger a change in the footer of all messages including the already delivered ones. This way the recipient will always know if the sender is currently online. The option adding Giegieo footers to messages can be disabled as well.
The freeware by CodeTwo expands the advanced functionalities of Microsoft Office Outlook for managing contacts (grouping, searching, sorting, categorizing) by adding Gadu-Gadu's capabilities: chatting, phoning, texting, availability statuses and quick messages. Installing Giegieo makes working with Outlook contacts more convenient – the user is always up-to-date with the IM availability of each contact. The status and current quick message in Gadu-Gadu of the selected contact will display in Giegieo toolbar. Information on contacts from Gadu-Gadu is also shown in the email Inbox.
Giegieo enables quick creation of a new contact when a Microsoft Office Outlook user receives correspondence from people not included in the contacts folder. More, the program has one more useful feature – it is capable of detecting new contacts added to the instant messenger and suggests importing new contacts to Outlook. IM ID numbers can be entered and modified manually. Giegieo supports Microsoft Outlook 2007 / 2003 and is compatible with Gadu-Gadu 8.0 / 7.x / 6.x. The application works in Windows Vista / XP / 2000.
