CodeTwo Public Folders aids groupwork
Support for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft Office 2010, improved communication protocols and simplified installation procedure comprise the latest changes in the new release of CodeTwo Public Folders. From 1 Dec the application is available for download from the website of the publisher – CodeTwo.

CodeTwo Public Folders is an application to share in Microsoft Outlook contacts, calendars, Office documents with other users in the corporate or home network.

Along with bringing the application in line with the latest releases of Windows, CodeTwo programmers have introduced a wide range of improvements to simplify the work with CodeTwo Public Folders 4.5 itself. These include a new option in the context menu for personal folders that can be shared now in a single click, support for indexing in Windows Desktop Search as well as Vista and Windows 7's indexers, changed synchronization algorithms facilitating switching between online and offline modes, and finally improved synchronization between Outlook Add-ins thanks to data compression.

- To simplify the installation of the application we merged previously two separate setup files into one installer. What is more, the installer is now capable of looking up the currently used version of the program and suggesting whether an upgrade is necessary. We have also changed the licensing system – the current one eliminates the need to send us the registration code from the program in order to receive the activation.
CodeTwo Public Folders is one of the flagship applications of CodeTwo company. It allows firms to boost groupwork potential and streamline the workflow as well as facilitate data exchange between multiple computers within one network. The application has the same features in terms of folder and data sharing as Microsoft Exchange Server. This makes it an economically viable alternative to Microsoft's solution.
