A European software developer, CodeTwo, has released a new Microsoft Outlook free add-in – CodeTwo Move & Delete Watchdog. The application prevents Outlook users from unintentional drag-and-drops actions and removing folders.
Poland, January 5th 2012 – CodeTwo’s dog is at large and it is for free - the developer has released a new freeware - CodeTwo Move & Delete Watchdog. The application alerts users when they try to move a folder onto a different folder, or when they remove a folder with the Delete button on their keyboard. The program can be downloaded from the developer’s website.
– Outlook users pretty often happen to miss the scroll bar while scrolling the navigation pane in Outlook and, as a result, they drag-and-drop a folder onto a different folder. Others accidentally remove entire folders while trying to delete a single item using the Delete button. Our Watchdog has been developed to protect Outlook users from that kind of situations. – said Michal Bednarz, CodeTwo Managing Director.
Once an alert message pops up in Outlook, a user can quickly confirm it or cancel it. It saves heaps of time, as Outlook users don’t have to look for lost or deleted folders.
– CodeTwo Move & Delete Watchdog automatically integrates with the email client during the installation. All you have to do is download the installer from our website and run it on a PC equipped with Outlook. The installer supports Outlook 2007 and 2010. – said Szymon Szczesniak, Marketing Manager at CodeTwo.
