Planning and managing the time of resource availability.
Being in possession of a Microsoft Exchange server and Microsoft Outlook client software, it is a fairly easy task to create a system allowing you to plan and manage a resource accessibility - resource could mean the boss, a specialist, a conference room, a car, etc.
Reporting is a function, which becomes indispensable in such system, however, it is not normally developed by MS Outlook, nor by MS Exchange. MS Outlook does not have an inbuilt capability of creating daily, weekly or monthly reports, which would present resource utilization or its plan of a day - e.g. boss's plan of a day, which should be placed on his/her desk every morning.

information about the timetables of resources modeled in the MS Exchange Server
as mail boxes and displays them in a comprehensible way in Word documents.
