How to create a back up copy in CodeTwo Public Folders.
The steps have to be carried out on the computer hosting the server module.
1. Stopping C2PublicFolders service.
To stop C2PublicFolders service, choose Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services, then right-click C2PublicFolders and select Stop from the menu. More about C2PublicFolders service...
2. Copying DATA folder.
The next step is locating the folder that contains data from folders. Normally, the path is C:\Program Files\CodeTwo\C2PublicFoldersServer\DATA, although during installation you can specify a different destination folder. To create a backup copy, simply copy DATA folder with all its content to a safe place.
3. Starting C2PublicFolders service.
To activate C2PublicFolders system service, choose Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Services then right-click C2PublicFolders and select Start from the menu.
