CodeTwo Base.title

Error: The given key was not present in the dictionary

Problem:

You get the following error code in CodeTwo Exchange Migration or CodeTwo Office 365 Migration:

The given key was not present in the dictionary.

Solution:

The are two possible reasons to this error message to be displayed:

  • The error is produced in the log file when the target mailbox is not fully enabled. A user must log in to the OWA and go through the initial mailbox configuration (define locales i.e. regional settings).
  • The error is visible in the migration wizard checklist by the target server connection verification. This happens when the Office 365 Global Administrator account does not subscribe to any Office 365 plan and is solely used for administration purposes. Solution to this would be either to assign Office 365 plan license(s) to this account or to add Global Administrator permissions to another, fully licensed user account and use that account for the migration.
