Run email marketing campaigns
Email marketing has been popular almost since the very beginning of email era. If your company sends a lot of emails every day why not use them for promotional purposes? Apart from email auto-signatures, auto-replies and email disclaimers, CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro can add automatic attachments and graphic banners to all or selected messages travelling via Exchange Server. Most of our clients use this function to:
- Add clickable text or graphic s to outbound messages sent by their employees - all banners appear in the body of a message (not as attachments)
- Add automatic email attachments with promotional materials(or anything else) such as PDF brochures, product banners, invitations, discount information, etc.
All banners and attachments are inserted to mail centrally on Exchange Server which greatly accelerates marketing campaigns. Imagine you have 50+ employees sending messages every day (some of our clients have even 30 000+ employees doing it daily) and you have to change a banner or a company telephone number in their footers, or change auto-attachments that are added to their messages. Without our software, you would have to ask each of them to do it manually in their mail client which would take ages. Let alone doing it all by yourself!
With CodeTwo Exchange Rules Pro, you can do it with a few clicks - just by changing image path or the contents of a hot-folder on Exchange Server. With our application, your company is more flexible and can act fast as far as marketing actions are concerned, which is invaluable in today's fast paced reality. Please note! You can do the same thing with email signatures and disclaimers in your company.
To add email banners to Exchange mail, you only need to configure a rule that adds automatic signatures to all or selected messages. Create a new rule (or modify an existing sample rule), go to the Actions Tab and click Edit template on the right side. A built-in template editor will launch. Select whether you want your banner to be added at the bottom or at the top of messages. You can also decide to add images as side banners. Then simply select a picture you would like to be added as your email banners and save the rule. You can also configure your banners to act as hyperlinks using the editor. Once your template is finished, you can select scopes of senders and recipients in the Conditions Tab.
To add automatic attachment(s) to your messages, you either need to change a sample rule named Promo footer with attachments or create a brand new rule in the program. After creating a new rule, go to the Actions Tab, select Add attachment and then provide a path to your file or to a folder on your server which will act as a hot-folder for groups of attachments
