We have released a new version of CodeTwo Exchange Sync, an application used for automatic synchronization of Microsoft Exchange folders. We recommend all our users to download and install the latest fix. The update versioned 2.1.4 solves the following issues from the previous versions:
- The synchronization service used to stop after activating the application to full version.
- In some cases, the synchronization service did not start automatically after restarting the computer hosting the program.
The update is free of charge for all CodeTwo Exchange Sync users. To update the currently used version with the fix, download and run the installer available on our website. The previous version will be automatically patched and all your settings will be kept. Here you will find detailed information on the update procedure.
We would like to thank all of you for your feature requests and other suggestions. We are still awaiting your comments about our programs and services.

Since we do a lot of applications for Outlook, we also use them in our everyday work. We use CodeTwo Public Folders and CodeTwo Exchange Rules. Some time ago we created a program for ultra-fast and automatic email account configuration. We love this app so much that we decided to share it with you! We have just released a free tool called CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig. It’s an amazingly easy application that automatically configures an email account in Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail. If you want to use any of the above-mentioned email clients, you no longer need to know any technical details like SMTP and POP3 addresses, mail server port numbers, encryption methods, etc. Using CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig, you can create your email account in split second only by providing your email address.
Download CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig and launch it. Enter your email address – a suggested Display name will appear beneath. Display name is what is shown to recipients instead of your full email address. Naturally, you can change the display name to anything you want, e.g. your name and surname.
Here in Poland people are used to say that if something is for free, it definitely has to be junk. Sometimes it’s hard to disagree but in my opinion there are some exceptions, especially as far as software is concerned. The Web is chock-full of various freeware for any purpose. All you have to do is to type the word “free” in the search engine in front of the solution you are looking for and pick the one that’s the most suitable for you. Which one to choose?
Picking up a solution from a reliable source is always crucial in such cases. Since designing Outlook add-ins became CodeTwo’s second nature, if you are looking for a smart free Outlook extension, you should definitely check out CodeTwo’s freeware offer, it won’t cost you anything except time:)
