CodeTwo Launches Partner Program for Affiliates

We have just launched our first partner program for Affiliates -  webmasters who are paid for publishing vendor banners on their web sites for potential customers. It is the first time CodeTwo has entered the affiliates market community. We have developed our own program and in some sense it is a historical moment which will be a milestone on the road to the future success.

Affiliates partner program was designed in cooperation with Avangate eCommerce platform thanks to which we have an access to advanced payment processor as well as their 8000 affiliates data base. With affiliates in mind, we have prepared a special offer, which should encourage the participation in the program.

Everyone who signs up for CodeTwo Affiliate Program not later than April 30th, 2010 will obtain an attractive commission rate. Instead of the standard 20% commission, you will be offered 35% for all CodeTwo solutions for life.

Sent Items Update – what’s behind the hill?

Have you ever had this feeling when watching old pictures that you desperately wanted to find out what is behind the hill, what sort of sabaton your great-grand-father was wearing, and how ugly was this man holding your girlfriend on a torn photograph? Most of email disclaimers software users feel the same thing when sending messages. When they look into their Sent Items folders, they know that there is something more than just the body of their messages. They know that the signature was added (hopefully it was added) on the server but they cannot see it. With CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2007 and CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010, there is no need to worry about that. All signatures are displayed in Sent Items, in all mail clients. Needless to say, it saves time and nerves…

CodeTwo Squad first soccer workout

Although there’s still some time left before EURO 2012 really starts in our country, we decided not to wait anymore and join the national preparations. Contrary to what you might think, we aren’t preparing another freeware which could help our builders in putting up new roads and bridges. We see our tasks where the real action happens – on the pitch, among the players.

The CodeTwo first official soccer workout was organized on last Tuesday. As usual, the members of our Squad showed their full commitment to the case and came to the meeting spot multitudinously. We could see a lot of spectacular moves on the pitch and many of them ended up with a score. The rivalry was really intense, you could tell it by the amount of bruises and strange pains which revealed among some players the following day:)

Here is a bunch of photos from our training:

Winners Take Prizes – IT Competition Finished!

As we mentioned before, CodeTwo was a lead sponsor of an IT competition held by Karkonosze College for students of local secondary schools. The rivalry was intense, but, according to the local media, many participants were trying to devise a grand strategy to take the third place in the competition in order to win Play Station 3.  The second runner-up, Lukasz Siegiet, scooped up the most desired prize – PlayStation 3 and a game gift token – founded by our company.

Rock climbing in Arco

The climbing season 2010 has started! Like last year, my wife Monika, our friends and I decided to begin it in Italy. Arco is a small town in the northern Italy with more than 50 climbing spots. It’s a great place to spend one week of vacation in early Spring. However, in the end, everyone agreed that one week was definitely too short. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining – I know that at the same time CodeTwo Team was working hard on a new release of CodeTwo Exchange Rules

Twelve hours spent in the car did not make the most enjoyable part of the trip but the landscape we could admire after reaching the target compensated our aching backs…

How fragile we are…

We would like to thank for all your words of kindness and sympathy in emails we have been receiving during our time of loss. It’s a truly sad moment for Poland and we really appreciate your thoughtfulness and caring. Thank you again.

On April 10th, 97 people died in a plane crash near Smolensk, Russia. Dozens of Poland’s military, political and church elite members were killed, including the Polish president and other dignitaries who traveled to a ceremony honoring the 22,000 Polish prisoners of war killed 70 years ago by the Soviet Union’s secret police.

CodeTwo Public Folders 4.5.9 – Minor Update

We have released a minor update versioned 4.5.9 to CodeTwo Public Folders, an Exchange Server alternative to share Outlook data. It includes among others the following fixes:

  • In some cases, a licensed program reverted to demo mode.
  • All items in shared folders were duplicated when a user had more than one Outlook profile.
  • Improved user identification system. In some cases, two different users having the same user and computer names were able to connect to the Syncing Master.

In this new version, users can decide if all removed items are moved to the Deleted Items folder or deleted irrevertibly. By default, all deleted elements are deleted permanently.

You can read more about the fixes to CodeTwo Public Folders on the version history page. The update is free of charge for all users. To update the currently used version with the fix, download and run the installer. The previous version will be automatically detected and patched. Detailed information on the update procedure can be found here.
