CodeTwo Sponsors Polish Space Program

CodeTwo sponsors ‘AlfaTwo’ sails which are now being meticulously prepared by Zaklady Lniarskie Pawian S.A. in Wykroty (Poland). The sails are crucially important parts of the construction – they will accelerate this UAV to 19 000 km/s and let it reach its target in 71 days.

  1. We also keep our fingers crossed for our partners from Switzerland who are responsible for focusing the sunlight that will be redirected to AlphaTwo sails.

    @Tomek:
    It’s not a small part! :)

  2. Talking about space exploration dreams… Does Elite or Frotier title rings a bell? And now, just few years after playing those games, we actually take a small part in the real deal… Gives me goosebumps.

  3. You might be wondering, why we are involved in sponsoring a spacecraft. A lot of us in CodeTwo used to play early versions of a popular computer game Civilization. The ultimate goal was to build a space shuttle and launch it to colonize new worlds. At that point you won and the game was over. Now, a few years later, we are close to making our childish dreams come true and see what’s next, what happens after launching a space shuttle. We will let you know soon…
