The number of companies that use the above solutions to handle mail signatures, disclaimers and branding has by now reached a few thousands and is dynamically growing. The program is popular in all parts of the world for it is capable of supporting all languages and all mail clients.
The emergence of Exchange Server 2010 triggered a round of tests of the disclaimer system built in to this server by Microsoft. We were simply curious if the feature allowing the management disclaimers in the new Exchange is a major step forward in comparison to its predecessor. Our findings are that the users of Exchange 2010 who want to have really professional signatures / disclaimers in email will still need to rely on 3rd party tools, such as CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010. The test proved there has been little progress in this respect in the new Exchange Server 2010 as it turns out the new server lacks even the basic features our solution has boasted for quite a while, let alone those more advanced ones. Although it now supports HTML and Active Directory fields, it does not include even a very simple disclaimer builder. You will not be able either to insert the footer in selected places in the message, such as below the most recent response. We were unable to make the program add the company logo, but we believe it would have happened if we had kept on trying. But the software should not be that complicated.
For those of you who have already upgraded to Exchange Server 2010 and look for a solution that will take care of the signatures and disclaimers, we have published the release version of CodeTwo Exchange Rules 2010. Read below the whole story describing our first test with the built-in disclaimers system in Exchange 2010. Continue reading ‘Signatures and disclaimers in Exchange Server 2010′

1 December is another day with an update to one of our solutions CodeTwo Public Folders. This is an application that has its users worldwide and is rapidly gaining in popularity. CodeTwo Public Folders serves as an alternative to those small and mid-sized companies that do not want to buy a costly and complicated Exchange server. Just as with the big brother from Microsoft, installing this outlook add-in adds a sharing capability to Outlook clients in your company. Today we are releasing an update that adds some more functionality to the program as well as improves its performance.
Today we are releasing an update to a freeware application used to share Outlook categories between multiple users in the network CodeTwo CatMan v.3.1.
Recently, the program was optimized for users of Outlook 2007 who installed the security update MS09-060 issued by Microsoft in October and for this reason experienced a problem sharing public categories.
With this update, CodeTwo CatMan becomes capable of sharing categories not only in the local network but also over the Internet. This is done by placing the single public category file, used by the program to update categories on client machines, on an FTP or WWW server.
Now, you will also have a quicker start with the program as you will be able to easily copy your existing private categories to the public pool of categories using drag and dropping functionality. CodeTwo CatMan is compatible with Microsoft’s latest version of operating system Windows 7.
The prestigious site www.msexchange.org is organizing a poll in which CodeTwo Exchange Sync is a contestant. MSExchange.org is a renowned website dedicated to Microsoft Exchange including Microsoft Office Outlook as the premier and most advanced mail client for Exchange.
In the poll the voters are asked to answer the question “Which is your preferred Exchange Server administration add on?”. We are proud that our solution is included in this contest as CodeTwo Exchange Sync has been on the market for only a month or so. For this reason too CodeTwo Exchange Sync it is unlikely we will be able to defend the pole position our application is now occupying. Still, we need to stress the program really took off – it is a very popular item in our cart.
If you are using the program and think we have done a good job, please cast your vote for our solution. You will find the poll on the front page of MSExchange.org in the Readers’ Choice section to the left.
MSExchange.org also lists our remaining solutions that can also be reviewed or supported with votes by our customers. If you have a comment or would like simply to cast your vote for these applications, please follow the link of the product you are using.
Finally we have made this crucial step that was so long expected. We have moved from the city of Pulawy, Poland to the city of Houston. I am not talking though about the company headquarters that are still based in Jelenia Gora, Poland but about the migration of www.codetwo.com website from data center located in Pulawy to data center in Houston. The name Pulawy may ring a bell to our American customers as Casimir Pulaski is a recognizable name both in Poland as well as the US. But the relationship is only in spelling and phonetic.
CodeTwo is becoming a global player – we are selling worldwide from Japan to California to Hawaii. When the users of our programs from Australia have just woken up, those in the USA are already going off to sleep. We sell to all world countries and the sales volumes are on the rise. We have more and more work and so need you to help us carry on developing and keeping pace.
We seek professionals for as many as 7 positions! If you would like to join us, please write.
